KaamKrew Terms and Conditions:
Welcome to KaamKrew- Your ultimate services platform dedicated to aid a seamless connection between the service users and the skilled workers as well as the household staff. When you choose to use the KaamKrew Platform, you enter into an agreement with KaamKrew and agree to follow our terms and conditions outlined below. Kindly make sure you have carefully read this document to ensure a clear understanding of your rights and responsibilities.
In these terms and conditions:
“Customer” refers to the individual or entity seeking services through the KaamKrew platform.
“Service Provider” refers to skilled workers, technicians, or domestic staff offering their services through the KaamKrew platform.
“Contract” implies the agreement between the Customer and KaamKrew for the provision of services.
2. Scope of Services:
The scope of services
The scope of services includes a wide range of offerings to ease everyday life of users. Here is the services scope in detail
- Connecting Users and Workers: KaamKrew acts as an online marketplace, connecting users with skilled and household workers. Whether users require specific services like repairs or installations, or need household staff, KaamKrew covers it all.
- Verified Technicians: KaamKrew ensures that all service provider on the platform undergo a clear verification process. This includes background checks, reference check, NADRA and CPLC (Citizen Police Liaison Committee) verification, skills check and KaamKrew Certification to make sure our customers are in safe hands.
- Assigning Tasks and Details Sharing: Once a user places an order on the App or Web, KaamKrew assigns a service provider based on their availability and skills. The details of the service provider and an OTP is then shared with the user via SMS and Email.
- Adherence to User Specific Needs: KaamKrew aims to adhere to every kind of user specific need by providing them with verified and skilled professionals.
3. Role & Obligations of KaamKrew:
As a middleman, KaamKrew connects clients in need of services with qualified service providers. We oblige to simplify this connection and make sure that the platform is easy to utilize for both parties.
Age Requirement: To maintain the quality and reliability of our platform, service providers registering with KaamKrew must be at least 18 years of age.
User Interaction: While we assist the customer-technician connection, we explicitly state that we do not take responsibility of the direct interaction between them, (behavior, performance and service delivery.)
Legal Background Checks: To maintain a secure environment, KaamKrew conducts a legal background check on technicians with the help of NADRA and CPLC during the registration process. Despite these checks, KaamKrew disclaims responsibility for any misconduct, be it theft or damage, whether intentional or unintentional, at the service location.
Limited Support in Legal Proceedings:
It is advised that during the visit by the service provider, the property owner should be present and supervise the work until completed. Moreover, the property owner is urged to safeguard their important assets and belongings while the representative is on the site.
In case of any wrongdoing (theft or behavioral misconduct) by the service provider, the customer can instantly alert the KaamKrew team via Panic Button.
If it is found that any kind of property has been damaged or stolen by the service provider. KaamKrew will hold an investigation on the matter and provide user with the relevant information (contact and address) about the technician involved. However, our role is limited to this informational aspect. While we understand the importance of legal proceedings, KaamKrew does not extend support beyond giving information. Users are encouraged to pursue legal actions independently.
Conflict/Dispute Resolution:
KaamKrew’s dedication to user safety is evident through our screening processes and commitment to providing information in case of issues. However, users should be aware of their responsibilities and exercise caution during interactions on the platform.
KaamKrew does not involve itself in disputes among platform users, except in cases where such involvement effects the overall user experience. However;
- If any issues arise during or after the service, users and workers should attempt to resolve them independently. Clear and respectful communication is key to reaching a resolution.
- If a dispute persists and cannot be resolved through direct communication, users have the option to involve KaamKrew. KaamKrew’s customer support team will intervene to assess the situation and gather relevant information from both parties.
Solicitation (Cancellation Outside the Platform): KaamKrew will not be responsible for any mishap or ensure service warranty if users decide to cancel the order on the app and go directly with the service provider outside the KaamKrew platform. It is advised to utilize KaamKrew’s platform for order management to ensure a secure and warranty-supported service experience.
4. User Obligations:
Contract Adherence: Users both customers and the services providers are expected to abide by their contracts with the company.
Accurate Information: Posting accurate and right information on the KaamKrew Platform is a basic user obligation. It will help us ensure a transparent and reliable service environment.
Regulatory Compliance: Users commit to comply with all the laws and regulation while suing the KaamKrew platform. Any content posted on the platform is not available for public use without getting consent from KaamKrew.
Responsible Platform Use: KaamKrew is designed for ethical and legal purposes, hence the users must refrain from engaging in any immoral or illegal activities while using the platform.
5. Technician Service Delivery:
KaamKrew strive to ensure an easy service-delivery process. Here are the aspects of it:
Vendor Arrival Time: The time scheduled by the user is the vendor arrival time. In every task, the vendor arrival time comes with a 1-hour margin after the scheduled time to adapt any unforeseen circumstances.
Review System: To maintain quality standards, both service provider and customers are asked to provide reviews after the completion of a service.
6. Prices:
At KaamKrew we believe in a transparent and reasonable Price structure. Here’s how:
Service Fee:
- Customer will only pay the service charges to the company via cash or online payment methods and for the material they will be paying to the service provider or the shop keeper.
- Upon agreement to a contract, the service provider owes KaamKrew a service fee, which is deducted from the agreed-upon fee held in the account.
Non-Refundable Fees: All charges and fees payable to KaamKrew are non-refundable, (subject to the right of Non-Excludable Conditions.) Restriction on a user account may apply until all fees are paid.
Extended Task Fees: If a task is extended or another product is added to the order upon visit, the order receipt will be updated. (Exclusive of any additional charges for the extended duration or enhanced services.)
7. Guarantee:
KaamKrew aims to provide assurance through its guarantee policy:
Guarantee Period:
Customers can avail a guarantee period of 15 days on services provided by KaamKrew.
Claims and Validity:
If a customer claims a reservice after the guarantee period, the complaint is not entertained unless service charges are paid again. However, Guarantee is not valid for certain cases, including home appliances repair & installation and short circuits (electrician services).
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
At KaamKrew, we understand that certain situation may arise that will require cancellation of an order. Here’s an in-depth look at our cancellation policy:
User-Initiated Cancellations: If a user initiates an order cancellation within the specified timeframe, a full refund will be given.
Worker-Initiated Cancellations: Users will receive a full payment refund if the worker cancels and order or fails to perform the service as agreed.
Late User-Initiated Cancellations: Late user-initiated cancellations will be eligible for a partial refund. The partial refund amount will be determined based on the order details and policy conditions.
Account Suspension and Policy Violations:
KaamKrew reserves the right to suspend or deactivate user accounts in cases of policy violations. Refunds may not be applicable if an account is suspended due to policy violations.
Refund Processing:
Refunds will be initiated promptly upon verification of eligibility. The processing time for the refund to appear in the user’s account may vary based on the payment method and financial institutions involved.
Refund Notifications:
Users will receive notifications regarding the refund status and the amount refunded. Notifications may be sent via email, in-app messages, and SMS alerts.
9. Limitation of Liability:
At KaamKrew, we aim to maintain transparency regarding liabilities. This section clarifies the extent to which KaamKrew assumes responsibility for any damages that may arise during the course of service usage. Here are the key details:
No Liability for Third-Party Actions:
KaamKrew is not liable for the actions or conduct of third parties, including workers and users. Any issues arising from interactions between users and workers that are beyond the direct control of KaamKrew may fall outside the scope of company liability. In cases of theft or damage, intentional or unintentional, we provide information about the technician but cannot support legal proceedings.
No Liability for Service Interruptions:
KaamKrew strives to provide uninterrupted services, but the company cannot guarantee the absence of service interruptions. In cases of technical issues, maintenance, or unforeseen events, KaamKrew will not be held liable for any resulting damages.
Financial Limitation of Liability:
In no event shall KaamKrew’s liability exceed the total amount paid by the user for the specific service in question. This financial limitation is in place to cap the company’s liability exposure to a reasonable and predetermined extent.
No Liability for User Decisions:
KaamKrew is not liable for decisions made by users, including but not limited to the selection of workers, cancellation of services, or direct arrangements with service providers outside the platform. Users are encouraged to exercise due diligence and make informed decisions.
Indemnification by Users:
Users agree to indemnify and hold KaamKrew harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of the platform. This includes legal costs incurred by KaamKrew in defending against such claims.
Users are advised to review and understand these limitations before engaging with KaamKrew’s services.
10. Legal Compliance:
We adhere to all applicable legal regulations and compliance standards. KaamKrew operates within the legal framework to ensure the protection of user rights and privacy.
